Wholesome Waffles

This recipe has the goodness of oats, fruit and warm spices to kickstart your day.
1 mashed banana
2 cups Rich Rice Milk
1 ½ cup uncooked oatmeal
1 ½ whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
Vanilla extract ( to taste)

Mix the mashed bananas and rice milk. Add all the other ingredients and mix, leaving lumps in the batter. Grease the waffle iron and place batter and close and cook till a rich brown colour. (Optional) Serve with maple syrup and fresh strawberries.
